Finance Division of Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority performs
various kinds of duties for smooth functioning of its organization.
Preperation of annual Budget and submission to the Govt. of Pakistan
for getting approval subsequently get release of funds from AGPR is
the main task. PNRA being a Regulatory Authority issues the Licences
to control the nuclear and radiations safety in the country. In this
regard licencing fee/renewal fee is charged from the licensees. Finance
Division collects such fees directly and through PNRA Directorates
and maintain their record and account. In connection with settlement
of financial matters. Disbursement of pay & allowances and dealing
with employees pension matters, GPF, EWF, advances to employees and
to deal with Income Tax matters is another responsibility of Finance
To maintain financial discipline, Finance Division continuously pre-audits
TA/DA bills, medical bills, payment of suppliers/service providers
and all the payments are made through this Division.
Finance Division is responsible for arrangement of permits and
foreign exchange through ministry/State bank and other local banks
for visits abroad of PNRA’s officials. In PNRA all the other
directorates approach Finance Division for financial concurrence/financial
advices in all the matters related to Finance.
Other than functions mentioned above Finance Division cantrol the
accounting units of Regional Directorates and perform other miscellaneous
jobs assigned from time to time.
